  • Is The Dabney currently accepting reservations?
    • We are currently closed to in-house dining. However we now offer three distinct food experiences; Meat and Three on Wednesday (to-go), Prix Fixe on Thursday – Saturday (to-go), and The Dabney Summer Rental on Sundays which is a coastal inspired snack bar offered for patio seating, reservations required.

 

 

  • How does payment work?
    • If you are ordering online payment will be processed upon order & a 10% service fee will be added to the final bill. We ask that you pre-order all of your cocktails, wine and beer ahead of time to minimize any in-house transactions which allows us to continue to offer a safe takeaway experience.

 

  • What is the pick up process?
    • Your dinner(s) will be neatly packed and ready on the our bar at the time of your designated pick up/reservation. If you ordered any beverages they will be ready for you as well. You are welcome to pull up into the alley and double-park outside of the restaurant. If you arrive before your pick-up time and dinner is not yet ready, we ask that you please wait in the alley. We ask that you respect social distancing and 6-foot spacing designated by the blue lines marked inside the restaurant as well follow the exit signs posted at the end of the bar.

 

  • What if I have an allergy or restriction?
    • Unfortunately, we are unable to modify the set menu, but we have listed what dishes are friendly for major allergies on TOCK.

 

  • What if I am celebrating a special occasion?
    • We would love to celebrate with you! Please make a note of it when placing an order online, or feel free to give us a call and let us know what you are celebrating so we can make your evening special while you enjoy your dinner at home.

 

  • What is the largest single order you can accommodate?
    • The largest order we are able to accommodate for To-Go is 8 and for Summer Rental reservations up to 5.

 

  • Do you offer gift cards?
    • We do! Simply visit our website and select the Gift Card link.

The Dabney Cellar is a tavern located around the corner from its restaurant counterpart and is the latest venture from co-owners chef Jeremiah Langhorne and beverage director Alex Zink. The Dabney Cellar features a robust wine list with a diverse assortment of wines by the glass as well as a raw bar, locally-sourced charcuterie and cheeses, and a concise menu of small shareable dishes.

The Dabney is located in Blagden Alley, which lies between 9th and 10th Streets NW and M and N Streets NW. Our building is in the easternmost part of the alley that backs 9th Street NW. Both metered and hourly parking are available in the neighborhood. We currently do not offer valet parking.

Blagden Alley is open to car traffic via 9th Street as well as via M and N streets for passenger drop-offs only. No public parking is permitted within the alley.

Dress Code: come as you are in whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
